It's been a real long time since I stopped by your blog (sorry about that). Boy has it grown! Looks like you have some pretty useful info here.

I'm just starting to go through your videos and hope to try out your Santa ornament tutorial this weekend.

I have a question - would you be able to show your followers how you make your triangular blanks that you use for the ornaments? I've tried it in the past but remember that they came out uneven. What's your secret?

Best of Luck - Ken

Marsha Mathias comments on I have an Etsy store now!

Hi Gary,
My name is Marsha. I am an art teacher who retired 2 years ago. I had always wanted to try carving but never had the time. I began carving about 2-3 months ago and I find that I love it (and now have the time). I started with no skills and learned most of what I know from you. YouTube is a wonderful thing. I like your carving off the corner series and saw somewhere a way to cut blocks in half. Was that you? I can't find it now and would like to watch it again. Do you have information on a club in this area? Thanks for the lessons.
Best regards,
Marsha Mathias
Lexington, SC

Robert E. Carter comments on I have an Etsy store now!

Robert E. The time and effort it must take to video and keep a website rolling is quite an undertaking.
I have watched all of your videos, more than one time, and the only thing I would suggest to change would be the intro and endings being so long. I would rather listen to you share a tip or review a step.
I hope you don't take this the wrong way I love your videos, just a suggestion.

Chuck

Lori Jarrett comments on Video of my TV interview

I recently picked up a carving knife after my father in law began renewing his interest in the art. He stopped carving about 7 years ago when mom passed away. I am a tattoo artist by trade but have found that I LOVE having the knife in my hand, carving out bits of wood and trying to make something from nothing. Your style is very much what I am drawn to when I paint or draw so the carving will just be a natural extension. Nice shop and look forward to seeing more of your tutorials/DVD's. Wonderful job and so helpful!
